All of us at Macie's dance recital at Lone Peak High last week! She loves dance! It was fun and really loud music (seriously there must have been a problem with the music persons ears because it was blasting. Everyone in the audience was holding their ears. Kind of funny but kind of annoying all at the same time).

McKay really loves his big sister and brought her a "special rock" for being a great performer (don't tell Macie he found the rock outside to door at Lone Peak on the way in to the recital).

This past week Macie had a dance recital. The song was "Mary had a little lamb" with a funky tune and the costumes didn't quite look like a lamb, but the recital was great! Macie is such a performer. 

Every night putting McKay to bed turns into a talk-a-thon. He tells me everything about his day and about the next day. Last night as we were getting settled and snuggling, he said "Mommy after I'm 4 I'll be 5 then 6 then 7 then 8. I don't want to be 8 cause that is too big." I asked him why? His response was" I want to stay a kid forever so I can always be yours." Tears rolled down my cheeks as he gave me a tight squeeze and a kiss. Then he said "Hold me tight tonight mommy, I Love you!" The love and brightness that McKay has brought to my life is insurmountable. To think of never knowing this blessing and feeling his love kills me. I am the luckiest person alive to have such great, loving, and incredible children. I love you too McKay and I'm glad you can stay mine FOREVER!
